FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Kwinix Podcast Network Launches New Podcast: Dinner Voyeur – A Fine Dining Podcast with Scot T. Kokandy (DinnerVoyeur.com) CHICAGO – August 7, 2008 – The Kwinix Podcast Network (KPN) today launched Dinner Voyeur – a fine dining podcast with Scot T. Kokandy, an episodic audio podcast featuring a unique and useful approach to the dining review. Each episode is recorded live at the time of the meal right from the dinner table and the host, Scot T. Kokandy, facilitates the interaction between the wait staff and dinner participants. At the end of each podcast Scot includes closing remarks and provides ratings on three categories that make up what he calls “the dining experience”: Food, Ambiance, and Service. Finally, Scot provides an overall rating that evaluates the entire experience. The most unique element of Scot’s rating system is the WOW factor. Any restaurant can WOW and may not necessarily be those with the highest rating. If Scot is WOWed by a dining experience he credits those restaurants with having the WOW factor. As of today there are four podcasts posted on DinnerVoyeur.com. Dinner Voyeur will primarily be based in the Chicago area however as Scot travels so will Dinner Voyeur. Currently two of the four episodes posted are from Las Vegas, Nevada. Listeners are encouraged to dialogue about each of the restaurants reviewed via a sophisticated threaded comment system located at DinnerVoyeur.com. Both text and video commenting is available. Additionally, listeners can suggest restaurants for Scot to visit or even invite him to dinner by sending an e-mail to scot@dinnervoyeur.com. “Dinner Voyeur provides raw conversation and commentary about today’s restaurants as it happens. I hope to provide a detailed and entertaining audio representation of what my dinner guests and I experience at each of the restaurants that I visit. Additionally I hope my listeners will use each episode as a factor in determining where they will dine out in the future,” said Scot. About the Kwinix Podcast Network The Kwinix Podcast Network (KPN) was started by Benjamin Hinc in 2008 to easily record, produce, and distribute podcasts online. The Network utilizes various technologies, including RSS, Flash, and Wordpress, to make podcasts as accessible as possible. Additionally, the podcasts are available via the industry-leading iTunes Store, available for Windows and Mac via iTunes 7. About Scot T. Kokandy Scot T. Kokandy likes to stay busy and lives his life by the saying Carpe Diem, “Seize The Day”! After several years of dining at many restaurants in and around Chicagoland and beyond his family and friends have always told him he should be a food critic. That thought laid dormant for many years as Scot stayed busy with many professional and extracurricular activities. However after crossing paths with The Kwinix Podcast Network it seemed a perfect time to pursue the endeavor and the result is DinnerVoyeur.com. Ben and Scot from the Kwinix Podcast Network were on hand in New Lenox, IL for the midnight premiere of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. We had a voice recorder with us and made some observations throughout the night. We also had the good fortune to interview some other moviegoers.
We will be posting the edited recordings as a podcast here in the next few days.
